Why should I order a cellphone plan for my visit to Israel?
Having the ability to remain in constant contact with your friends, family and work gives one a sense of peace of mind and security. We also use our phones to take pictures, post to social media, use gps when traveling, look up important details and much more. A cellular phone is no longer a convenience but a necessity.
What is VAT?
VAT stands for: Israeli Value Added Tax. It's currently 17%. It is a tax applied to all non-essential goods and services in Israel, including cellular service.
How do I make calls, texts and check voicemail?
It's important to follow the below dialing directions for all your outgoing calls in Israel. Local calls: Dial the number and press the 'send' or 'call' button. Israeli phones must have a 0 first, (02 for Jerusalem landlines). Cell phones also need the 0 (052 for cellcom cellphones). International calls: Dial direct using 00 followed directly by the country code -for example, dial the USA as follows: dial 00-1(555)555-5555. Voicemail:  Your default password is 1234*. The instructions will guide you through the voice mail menu. Note that you press 4 to change your outgoing message. Feel free to customize your voice mail during your rental! Text messaging:  From your phone, you can send a text to any number in the world. Please check your plan details for pricing. All incoming texts are FREE.
How does your billing work and which payment methods are accepted in the Online Shop?
You are billed immediately for our prepaid product. As for our MiFi, if you exceed the 30 day rental period, you will receive a detailed invoice with a record of your initial payment, additional fees incurred. We accept most major credit cards.
How do I get and return my product?
Your item can be delivered to an US address of your choosing. Groups only can pick up their order as a group pick up at Ben Gurion airport. Our representative will meet the group upon arrival. Our airport drop off location is in the “WEMAKEIT” booth, which is located in Terminal 3, 1st floor, behind the car rental desks. For devices that has to be returned, the device should return to the WeMakeIt booth to the drop off box, located in the booth.
How secure is shopping in the Online Shop? Is my data protected?
Yes, we take stong measures to protect for data. For our postpaid items we will store your protected credit card information for the purposes of the second bill.
How much do I pay for incoming calls and incoming text messages?
All incoming calls and texts are absolutely FREE from anywhere in the world!
What do I do if my phone is lost or stolen?
Immediately call IsraelPhones to have the line disconnected, preventing any additional usage.  You are responsible for any calls made from the phone until it is disconnected, so this step is quite important.  You can reach customer service at 08-918-1180 or 1-800-721-1111.  We recommend you get insurance on your phones or this unfortunate incident could become even more expensive. To arrange for a new phone or SIM card, please arrange with IsraelPhones customer service.
